About Me

I am the founder of Sanura Dance, a queer-focused dance studio in London, UK, where I run inclusive salsa and bachata workshops. At Sanura Dance, everyone is encouraged to learn both leading and following roles, as part of our aim to empower the LGBTQ+ community through dance. After each session, the group heads to the pub for a social drink, further fostering a sense of community.

In addition to Sanura Dance, I am also the co-leader of LBTQWomen, a global platform that empowers the femme side of the LGBTQ+ community. As the co-leader, I am responsible for the platform’s technology, strategy, and direction. I recently took over the website, rebranding it and creating new features like the OUTDirectory and the upcoming OUTCompanies sections. My vision is for LBTQWomen to become the global hub for the femme side of the LGBTQ+ community, providing resources, networking opportunities, and a space for connection and empowerment.

Alongside my entrepreneurial ventures, I work as a software engineer. I am known as a role model and mentor within the LGBTQ+ community, using my platforms to inspire and support other diverse leaders. My commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive environments is a driving force behind my work, and I continue to make a meaningful impact on the communities I serve.
